Clare is an experienced clinical psychologist in child health; she has particular expertise and experience in working with children with long-term conditions, their families and the medical teams which support their care. She has a PhD and an extensive publication record across a range of topics including mental health in primary care, children’s perspectives on mental health, sudden unexplained death in psychiatric inpatients, and evaluations of various training programmes. These include training for GPs in the management of depression and applied suicide prevention training for mental health practitioners. She has presented at numerous international conferences.
