About Jo Black
Jo has worked as a clinical tutor on the Doctorate programme since 2011, focussing particularly on the strategy and delivery of clinical skills, formulation and personal development teaching. Before and alongside this, she has worked in a range of clinical settings in direct and supervisory roles, within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Manchester and more recently in a Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team. Jo is a trained coach, as well as having interests in psychological training, psychological approaches to long term health conditions, and parenting.
A recent move to Denmark with her family provides daily challenges and amusement - regular language lessons (with slow progress), singing in a Danish choir, and a chance to explore a new corner of the world in her beloved, ugly old campervan.
